I have never made a pound cake before. This recipe sounds so simple. I want to make this cake for Easter. Can I use a different flavor of pudding? Will it affect the cake if I change the flavor used? Thank you for this recipe and I hope to hear you advice on my ideas.
Yes, you can change the pudding flavors, but beware that you stay with that overall flavor,
This recipe has the orange juice addition. If you change the flarvor, be sure you also change what you put in 'sauce' you pour over the cooked cake...... i.e., possibly chocolate something for chocolate cakes. Regardless, this really is easy and good for a 'box mix'.
