~ From Connie's Recipes

Amish Sour Cream Potatoes

Ingredients:

***Potatoes***
1 pint sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 Tbsp. onion
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
9 cooked potatoes, grated
3 Tbsp. melted butter, or margarine {not spread}

***Topping***
2 Tbsp. melted butter, or margarine {not spread}
1/2 cup crushed cornflakes

Mix together all potato ingredients and pour into baking dish. Combine
topping ingredients and sprinkle over top.

Bake at 350 degrees F., uncovered for 1 hour.

NOTE: A friend sent this recipe to me and since I noted the potatoes
were cooked and shredded, I decided to bake it for 30 minutes, then
increase the time as needed. It was ready in 40 minutes.

    I tried this recipe at home and needless to say we all I found it delicious. Even my grandmother has become a fan of it. I gave some to my friends and they also found it really tasty. Though they are asking me the recipe I have decided not to give them at least for sometime because I don’t want to break the suspense. Anyway I would like to thank Maggie for this wonderful recipe. Good food lovers cannot afford to miss such wonderful blogs. Regards John
