Stacy's Chili

Here's the recipe for my daughter-in-love Stacy's Chili .  It has a little twist on an 'old' original recipe, kind of has a Mexican flair to it.

1 lb of ground chuck or turkey
1 large onion chopped
2 cans of chili beans (use the kind with the seasoning already in them)
1 can of black beans
1 can of tomato sauce (15 oz)
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 can of diced green chilies (4.5 oz)
1 packet of taco seasoning mix
1 packet of ranch dressing mix
1 1/2 cup of water

Brown meat in a large pot, drain.  Then brown some more with the onions.

Put the rest of the ingredients in with the meat.  Do not drain any of the canned stuff.  Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 15 minutes or longer if you want.

You can top with cheese, sour cream, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and/or tortilla chips.  It freezes great also.

Ronnie eats it over crumbled crackers, and the rest of us eats it over crumbled tortilla chips.
