2 cups butter -- softened
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups powdered sugar
2 cups oil
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons almond extract
9 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons soda
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 cups toasted slivered almonds
1 package butter brickle bits

In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add oil, eggs and
extract, mix well. Combine flour, soda, cream of tartar and
salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in almonds and
butter brickle bits. Shape into balls, roll in granulated sugar.

Flatten with fork or bottom of glass Bake on ungreased
cookie sheet at 350 for 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly
browned. This makes a lot, recipe can be cut in half.

I form into balls and freeze, then when I want cookies
I just take out what I need and bake them.
